Dr. Jie Chen is a professor, and Vice Dean of Center of Intelligent Acoustics and Immersive Communications (CIAIC) at Northwestern Polytechnical University, and an expert of "thousand youth talents plan" of China. 


He worked at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, US and Observatory of Cote d'azur, France respectively during 2013 - 2015.  


He received Ph.D. degree of  University of Technology of Troyes (UTT), France in 2013 (work performed at University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis). He received Engineering degree and Master's degree of UTT and Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), China respectively in 2009. He received B.S. of XJTU in 2006.
